The software should allow saving/archiving/recall of all claims - original, corrected, voids, etc.
I am coming from the world of Central Reach. Did you know, in Central reach, when you generate a claim, that original claim is then always in the system. Unchanged.
If one needs to generate a corrected claim, they generate a NEW CORRECTED CLAIM - and the ORIGINAL WRONG CLAIM is still in the system, able to be reviewed and viewed, even printed. The system retains all claims - I could generate 12 corrected claims for the same DOS, and find all 12 of them in the system chronological.
Why on earth does NPA not do this?!?!?! Overwrite the original claim? That is wacky (IMHO)
Thank you

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I AM SUBMITTING THIS "IDEA" BECAUSE I KEEP HAVING THE SAME ISSUE
SHOCKINGLY MY PREVIOUS IDEA ONLY GOT ONE VOTE - PRESUMABLY MY OWN VOTE.
I WONDER HOW MANY TIMES IT WAS VIEWED, DO WE HAVE TRACKING OF THOSE NUMBERS?I REALLY KIND OF DESPERATELY NEED THIS SOFTWARE TO RETAIN ALL CLAIMS.
FOR EXAMPLE WE HAVE ONE PAYOR WHO - WHEN SUBMITTING A CORRECTED CLAIM
WHERE THE ORIGINAL CLAIM HAD MULTIPLE LINES - BUT THE CORRECTION IS ONLY ON ONE LINE
THIS ONE RIDICULOUS PAYOR DEMANDS THAT WE SUBMIT *ONLY * THE * LINE* THAT* IS* BEING* CORRECTED*THEREFORE, TO DO THIS I MUST DISCARD THE ENTIRE COMPLETE ORIGINAL *MULTI-LINE* CLAIM IN NPA
AND REGENERATE A CLAIM JUST WITH THE ONE LINE
I HOPE I DO NOT NEED TO SPELL OUT ALL THE OTHER PITFALLS ASSOCIATED WITH HAVING TO DO IT THIS WAYTHERE ARE OTHER REASONS WHY I HAVE THE *IDEA* THAT OUR BUSINESS WOULD NEED TO BE ABLE TO EFFICIENTLY RECALL ANY AND ALL CLAIMS GENERATED AND SUBMITTED, WHETHER THE CLAIMS ARE THE ORIGINAL, A FIRST CORRECTION, SECOND CORRECTION, VOID, BILLED IN ERROR, ETC ETC.
TO ME THIS IS KIND OF CRUCIAL
THANKS FOR READING?
